Residential Construction Estimator/Purchaser
We are looking for an organized and detail-oriented professional to perform estimating and purchasing duties. Job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Prepare cost estimates and change orders per deadlines for construction projects
• Edit and/or write project contracts
• Prepare project schedules
• Visit job sites to assess field conditions
• Apply for permits
• Prepare project information binders for the field
• Order materials and verify the delivery and accuracy of orders
• Maintain list of active subcontractors and suppliers
• Maintain cost information from suppliers and subcontractors
• Use computer software programs for estimating and database management
Required qualifications:
• Thorough and current knowledge of the residential construction process and materials (5-10 years experience)
• Most recent work experience should be in residential construction
• Ability to read architectural plans; perform accurate takeoffs
• Detailed-oriented and organized
• Adheres to deadlines
• Strong mathematical skills
• Experience with various computer spreadsheets and word processing
• Works well in team environment; can work independently with little supervision
• Willingness to assist broadly
• Motivated, positive attitude
• Reliable transportation

Project Supervisor
Candidate should be highly motivated, career oriented, and have a proven track record in managing complex residential construction and remodeling projects. Must perform on all phases of remodeling and carpentry tasks including layout, framing, cabinetry, and finish work. Strong communication skills are essential.

This position will also be responsible to manage field employees and drive project schedules, schedule subcontractors and inspections and order materials, supplies, and specialty products. Also to handle and monitor administrative work such as timecards, daily logs and change orders, demonstrate solid ability to read plans/blueprints and complete details to specs, demonstrate ability to interface with clients and provide high customer service, and have reliable transportation and tools.
